Do print sales jobs suffer from summer blues?
Summer seasonal affective disorder has reportedly struck down more than half of British employees, perhaps including those in print sales jobs.
According to Personnel Today, a new poll by the Training and Development Agency for Schools found that 58 per cent of British workers think they are suffering from mid-year mood problems.
Some eight per cent of those polled said they were more likely to call in sick in the summer, while 20 per cent said they spent the entire season staring dreamily out of their office window.
And in news that may be of interest to people thinking of applying for a print sales job, seven per cent of respondents look for new employment in the summer.
Graham Holley, chief executive of the agency, told the news provider that people should look for a job that offers "time in the summer months to recharge their batteries away from the work environment".
A recent survey of employers by Select Appointments found that basic spelling mistakes were the most irritating aspect of a CV.
